Note from Lisa - Christmas is Coming

What a month of celebration it’s been with so many birthdays, the end of lock down in Sydney, exhibitions and the reopening of the studio for workshops and open studios.

On the back of Artisans in the Gardens 2021 I have also been supplying Hazelhurst Regional Gallery with some new work for their gallery shop. We had a lovely birthday lunch in the café there, pictured below, also enjoying some great sculpture exhibitions including the collaboration of ceramic artists with painters in a show called ‘RECIPROCITY’. This exhibition will finish on November 2.

October was also spent delivering work from online exhibition sales and preparing for new workshops. I love seeing where my sculptures end up with many customers sharing images of work in their new homes. Planning for the annual Bakehouse Christmas exhibition is also in full swing and scheduled as usual for the first weekend of December. I can’t believe it’s only a month away! So please save the date and come and celebrate the end of a challenging year with us on the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of December.
